TIM ESTES
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. Tim has been employed with the SCPRD for 31 years. He started as the Assistant Director and was promoted to Executive Director in 2007.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"I thoroughly enjoy interacting with our citizens and genuinely believe that our work is making the quality of life better in Sumter County. Our youth sports programs, gymnastics, facilities and newly renovated playgrounds and parks have made Sumter County a leader in Southwest Georgia when it comes to public parks and recreation. I also believe that we have a dedicated staff of recreation professionals who have a passion for what we do and it is a pleasure to work with them daily."

DWIGHT HARRIS
ATHLETIC MANAGER
Coach Harris has been employed with the SCPRD for 15 years. He is the athletic manager of Basketball, Football, Summer Day Camp, & Track.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"Working with and for the children."

JEFF FUSSELL
RECREATION MANAGER
Mr. Jeff has been employed with the SCPRD for 18 years. He is the recreation manager of Aquatics, Baseball, & Soccer.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"Watching the children of our community grow athletically, physically, and mentally. We get to make a positive influence on their lives."

KAITLYN GOODIN
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Mrs. Kaitlyn has been employed with the SCPRD for 3 years. She manages our registration system, social media pages, and much more.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"I love that I have become friends with my coworkers. I also enjoy having the opportunity to be out in the field and assisting when needed."

MELISSA SINGLEY
GYMNASTICS COORDINATOR
Mrs. Melissa has been employed with the SCPRD for 16 years. She is our gymnastics coordinator which is our only year-round sport.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"I most enjoy working with all the children who come through our doors. I love seeing them learn new skills and watching them succeed."​​
RENE RIX
GYMNASTICS ASSISTANT
Miss. Rene has been employed with the SCPRD for 1 year. She assists our gymnastics coordinator and recreation classes.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"I love seeing the athletes succeed. As someone who has participated in the gymnastics program, I know just how much dedication and hard work these athletes put in for this sport. I want to push them to be their best."

COREY TYSON
FACILITY ASSISTANT
Mr. Corey has been employed with the SCPRD for many years. While being our facilities assistant, you can also find him umpiring and refereeing our recreational sports.

"Working with a great group of coworkers and seeing the excitement in athletes on the field."​
JOHN DODSON
MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Mr. John has been employed with the SCPRD for 9 years. As our maintenance coordinator, he ensures that Regional Park is in excellent condition.

What do you most enjoy about working with the SCPRD?
"I enjoy meeting new people every season when ballgames start and preparing the fields for the athletes to play on."​
